Since our last post, several major insurance companies have announced policyholder premium credits for car insurance. Most have offered a flat 15% credit on two months of premium, but at least one car insurance company has offered a flat $50 credit. 
The situation is fluid and updates are coming as the carriers decide what to do. No doubt, there are a lot fewer cars on the road and mileage is down for now, so he fact that they are giving any premium credits is a good start in our opinion. Some of them are issuing guidance on how to calculate annual mileage fo
r the other side of shelter in place.
