Sign Distinction was recently approached by Bar Rescue–an American reality television series that airs on Paramount Network. It stars Jon Taffer, a long-time food and beverage industry consultant specializing in nightclubs, bars, and pubs, who offers his professional expertise plus renovations and equipment to desperately failing bars in order to save them from closing.
A local restaurant has been struggling and was selected as a site for an upcoming episode. The request we received was unusual due to the fact that, while the call came in on a Monday, we were asked to design, obtain approval of the design along with city permit approval, remove existing signage, fabricate and install the signs on Friday (4 days later). We accomplished each of the tasks and are looking forward to seeing the final result on television when they broadcast the “Rescue” sometime in May 2020.
