Imagine you have a huge event to get ready for with just weeks to showtime and ... you heard the President of the United States will be in attendance. Well, that was us. Sign Distinction was awarded the contract to print all the signage for the first ever Quicken Loan Carrier Classic 2011. The event was more than just two great basketball teams coming together to play on the flight deck of the USS Carl Vinson. Michigan State University, University of North Carolina and the Navy got together to celebrate Veterans Day and all those who have put their lives on the line for our freedom. Despite the 18 hour work days, it was a privilege and a blast to be a part of it! We had just 2 weeks to accomplish what seemed almost impossible. In that time frame, all of the artwork from the numerous sponsors had to be approved, we had to find some creative solutions for the different types of signs required, inventory and pack up the products, and then deliver and install them all on a high security air craft carrier. To top it off, we had to change out all the signs to a single sponsor at half time with just minutes to do so-talk about an adrenaline rush.
