We needed a picture for our front lobby. We wanted Texas themed, and something that made a bold statement when people enter our facility.

The solution was a series of three pics all related to Texas. A big longhorn (named 'The Greeter') and two other photos that have bluebonnets within the pictures. So constructing this was some what a challenge. The opening we needed to fill was 13' x 7'. The pictures I chose had to be a very large  file size so they could be blown up without pixilating.  This was one concern of mine since I had never designed anything like this before. We took the three photos, and arranged them into a 13' x 7' file out of Adobe Illustrator.  The media we chose  to print on was a 9 oz see through mesh banner material. Once the images were laid out, we sent the job to the printer. We are able to print onto 60" media, so we ultimately paneled the job into three separate panels with a one inch overhang along the edges so they could be pieced together. Once the panels were printed, we laid them on the tables, trimmed em up, and used very tacky double sided tape to mend the sections together using the extra inch. The end result was very close to what was envisioned. The print actually came out relatively vivid, and 'The Greeter' makes a nice bold statement when people enter to visit with us.
