Tow Truck Wraps, Decals, and Graphics.
Tow trucks come in many different sizes and shapes, and many are customized to the particular needs of each company. The trucks themselves may be standard models such as an F550 or F650 Ford truck, or a number of other well-known truck manufacturers like Freightliner or Kenworth, but the beds, boom, storage, and other equipment configurations are often unique to each company. This makes the process of creating custom wraps for the trucks more difficult because there are no purchasable templates that companies can download to design and produce tow truck wraps.
For this reason, it is a great idea to work with a company that has experience working specifically with tow trucks, and have completed several jobs in the towing, salvage, and wrecker industry. If you choose to work with a company that doesn’t have tow truck wrap experience, then you may end up waiting longer than needed to have your wrap completed, and you may end up paying higher than market rate for your wraps because the company will need to build waste costs into their price to cover likely errors and rework that will occur.
You can see from some of the pictures on this page that we have completed several jobs for tow truck customers, and we have done jobs that include everything from simple decals to full wraps. One of our customers, Bubba from Action Towing in Texas, recently ordered a tow truck wrap with a unique and custom design. Bubba has his trucks built out by Rocky Mountain Wrecker in Salt Lake City, Utah. Rocky Mountain Wrecker is a great company. Bubba was originally going to settle for putting decals on the tow truck because he needed to get the project completed right away, and get the truck on the road. As we got talking to him, we realized he would prefer to have a full wrap, but didn’t think it could be completed in time. Our design team was able to quickly create a design that the Bubba was excited about, and we were able to schedule the installation in time to have it completed before the flight he had already scheduled to come pick up the truck.
