o with the reality of rough weather, combined with the potential for debris and other objects striking the outside of their vehicles in mind, we chose to use 3M IJ40 substrate material with Briteline Gloss applied on top of the graphics. The UV laminate layer helps to protect from the ultraviolet sunrays that will cause damage like fading. It also helps to protect from small rocks and other objects that might be thrown up hitting the side of the vehicle and potentially damage the graphics.
