We were contacted by SOHO Kitchens & Design in Naples, FL because they were looking for a local sign company to make a vehicle wrap for their work trailer. You can see the trailer wrap in the pictures in this article.
To make the wrap, we digitally printed the graphics onto vinyl vehicle wrap material before installing it onto the trailer. Before applying the vinyl vehicle wrap material, we first have to prep the surface of the trailer where the vinyl will be installed, in order to make sure that the surface is perfectly clean so the vinyl will adhere properly.
We received their logo but were quickly alerted by our graphic design team that we would need to convert their logo into a vector file. The vector image allows us to scale their logo up to extremely large sizes without losing any resolution. Any time that you are printing something very large, like a vehicle wrap, or perhaps a billboard advertisement, you need to use vector images or very high resolution photos if you want the final result to look good.
In the picture below and to the left, you can see what the trailer looked like before the wrap was installed. In the picture below and to the right, you can see the HD printer that we used to print the sections of the vehicle wrap.
One of the benefits of a trailer wrap like this one is advertising. SOHO Kitchens & Design now has a great mobile marketing tool that can generate leads for them when they are on the road or out on a job site.
