The September heat wave is gone, and now we finally seem to have normal fall colour. Maybe we got inspiration from the change of season or maybe we just want to be close to our clients. One way or the other here we are, blogging for the first time! Yes, Sport Clips Dixie Dundas now has its very own blog where we want to tell you who we are, why we love what we do and of course, discuss haircuts! There’s so many things to talk about… So, let’s get started.
First, who am I: some say I’m a connoisseur. Some think I’m discerning. I just think that the gentleman of today, no matter if he is 8 or 80, should always look his best. Clothes go a long way, but personal grooming is the point that I am getting at. What’s the first thing that in a man’s mind before an important date, a job interview, his own wedding? Yes, you got it: his haircut. Men don’t spend a long time talking about hair but that doesn’t mean we don’t care. We want to look our best and that starts with a great haircut. That was my inspiration to join Sport Clips. A place where a man will go to get a great cut and enjoy the process: sports on TV, steamed towel, Tea Tree Shampoo and shoulder and neck massage. If you haven’t tried it yet, come today and you will understand why I was so drawn for this business and why as the owner of the Dixie Dundas location I am determined to bring the highest standards in the industry to the citizens of Mississauga.
Second, I want to thank the city of Mississauga for allowing us to participate in Movie Nights at Celebration Square . That was a lot of fun. We decided to go for the Lego movie and had total blast. You probably are wondering at this point, “yes, this all sounds very nice, but was Sporty there?”. And the answer is, yes he was! Check out the photos and it jumps out right away that he pretty much stole the show for the evening. Kids of all ages wanted to have the photo taken, walk and talk with Sporty. He was a major success. That evening we also handed out some of our always well-received coupons! Coupons for free haircuts for new clients and for MVP upgrades for existing.
