Transmission Failure

By far, the most significant issue faced by Honda Accord users is the transmission failure problem. Both older and newer models of the vehicle face this issue, with thousands of complaints being filed annually. The most common transmission issues with the Accord include a failed friction element, shift solenoid failure, an inaccurate gear ratio, and a fault in the transmission control system. There have been many reports of the tenth generation Accord’s Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), which has been accused of randomly triggering on its own without being prompted.
