From their first model, there has always been something special about BMW cars. They are best known for their great designs. Their engineering, handling, and interior quality too among others. If you own a BMW from the 2, 3, & 5 series, then be sure you know what quality is. BMWs have a reputation to be long-lasting. Their style and looks can stay intact for a very long time. Regardless of their durability and great construction, owning a BMW 2, 3, or 5 series cars can come with its issues. If you are thinking of getting one, then you should what their common problems are.
  1. Electrical issues:
Electrical problems are one of the common issues of the BMW 2, 3 & 5 series. The most common electrical issue is always the battery. This is because, over time, the corresponding terminal on the fuse box and the positive battery cable connector tend to wear out or degrade. This can lead to you having an inoperable vehicle due to loss of electrical power. Computer problems are also common with these series.
  1. Fuel Pump Issues:
Another common problem among these series is the fuel pump. A few owners of the BMW 2, 3 & 5 series have complained a couple of times about their fuel pump troubles. The high-pressure fuel pump does cause a few problems. Issues like engine’s inability to turn over, stuttering engine at high speed, or poor acceleration. The BMW 2, 3, & 5 series engines have two fuel pumps. like any good engine should have. The low-pressure and the high-pressure pump. In a situation where your high-pressure pump is underperforming, then it needs fixing. For this, you need an expert BMW technician.
  1. Air Conditioning Issues:
The air conditioning issue is most rampant in the BMW 5 series. The fan can change speed without receiving any control prompt or cold air blown out on low settings. If you wish to buy a second-hand model, you might need to get an M & R Automotive BMW expert to check it out for you.
  1. Rattle Issues:
A few times, some 2, 3 & 5 series owners have complained about rattle noise from the engine. As well as vibration noise. The source of this problem always lies in the engine. You would need an expert to give the car a proper check and fix. An Auto Shop to Fix Your BMW 2, 3, & 5 Series Problems If you own a BMW 2, 3, or 5 Series vehicle or you wish to buy one, then you need an expert to have a look at your car.
