We had the opportunity to work with Cool Springs Sports Complex and complete one of our largest and most challenging projects. Cool Springs collaborated with our team to design, create, and install a building length mural, almost 3,000 square feet, picturing athletes playing the sports offered in their facility.
Cool Springs Sports Complex is a multi-purpose facility, dedicated to developing and enhancing sports skills in an enjoyable atmosphere. Located in the south hills of Pittsburgh, the campus covers 58 acres and ranks as the largest multi-sport facility in Western Pennsylvania. The complex is a haven for avid athletes and families alike looking for active amusement
Throughout the article, the photos show the vivid murals that displayed the new Cool Springs logo and huge visual elements of athletes involved in their respective sports. Cool Springs needed to rebrand their new building and they approached Spark Signs with the need for a building-length, digitally printed mural. We began the process by performing multiple site surveys to get the precise measurements of the windows, gutters, and mullions, the spaces between the windows so that we could size the huge graphics to the 
correct dimensions. Our design team was challenged and, therefore, spent several hours on the placement of the images and new logo to ensure perfect visibility of each element. Once we finished designing and editing, we selected the materials to use as the window mural. Our final decision was the Clear Econoview Perforated 60/40 Vinyl to create a vivid picture and still provide the natural sunlight to pass through the window. The final installation was compiled of 40 15-foot tall vertical strips of vinyl, applied one-by-one, and extended across the full length of the complex. Within a week, Cool Springs had a beautifully branded building.
Cool Springs appreciated us accepting their enormous project and working so hard to get every detail right. They were extremely pleased with the finished product and our professionalism throughout the process.
