Conley Resort & Golf Club and Suncrest Golf & Grille had an idea. Why not install custom golf tee signs with sponsorship areas? It would improve the ways that consumers interact with their brands. At the same time, it would benefit members of the local business community. The team contacted our sign shop when it was time to proceed.

Each project we undertake is different. For this reason, we bring a customized approach to each client. In this case, the client needed a total of 36 signs that would identify two sets of 18 golf tees. As a result, the directions for each sign had to be unique, with the proposed installation location in mind.
Moreover, our technicians understand that an order of this size has to be precise and without hiccups. Otherwise, there are waiting times and additional material costs. This is why we decided to manufacture a prototype that would ensure that all the structural and material modifications that were made during the design process are – indeed – feasible.
We learned that the expansion rates of polycarbonate and aluminum needed to be factored in to prevent even the slightest bends. Doing so was simple with a minor adjustment of a couple of standoffs. With the expansion now well controlled, we continued with the manufacture of the products.
Now,
the posts measure 3" x 3" x 96" and consist of aluminum. The sign panels feature one-inch radius corners and consist of 4" W x 48" H x .125 aluminum. Reverse-printed polycarbonate features graphics that highlight the hole's hazards and layout. The bottom panel portion is available for sponsorship information.

These removable polycarbonate panels install with four tamper-proof screws made of stainless steel. Their brushed exteriors add pizzazz to the overall look of the signage setup. Most importantly, the fully customized signs are now excellent assets for the golf courses and their sponsors.
