Mike’s Beer Bar was close to opening and Spark jumped in on a tight timeframe to fabricate signage that would highlight the number of beer selections at Mike’s. We worked with existing sign structures to create and install the exterior lighted projecting sign and lighted circular logo sign, as well as current awnings on the building.

Located on Federal Street across from PNC Park, Mike’s Beer Bar is a premier craft beer destination in Pittsburgh. It specially features 80 rotating taps and has a selection of over 500 beers so every customer is sure to find the perfect beer for any occasion.
To prepare for the project we worked with the marketing agency that was promoting the opening of the bar. We also met on site several times to perform site surveys and measure the existing signage, as well as in our own facility and over the phone.
Each sign had a special fabrication and installation process for its unique features. Our client already has a great existing projecting sign, which we updated with new sign faces. The top included two 18” acrylic circular faces and two tall vertical faces routed in aluminum with a white acrylic backer. We exchanged the 36” circular lighted sign just above the entrance with the new vibrant logo sign. On each of the three 15’ awnings, we applied large white vinyl graphics to the black 
Dibond material, an aluminum composite, and attached them to the front of the awnings. The large lettering included a few key messages such as “MIKE’S BEER BAR”, “80 ROTATING TAPS”, and “OVER 500 BEERS”.
Our main contact at the marketing firm remarked, “We contacted Spark Signs & Graphics to switch out some signs. We didn’t have a lot of time to get it done, but they worked with us to make the right deadline. Everything was up when needed and looked great. They were a pleasure to work with.”
