We recently had the pleasure of creating signs for a new business in the Edgewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Pets on Point is a new pet grooming business that contacted Spark Signs & Graphics to help set the right tone for its grand opening and to lay the groundwork for growing the business with a lighted box sign and eye-catching window graphics. The images below show the face of a handsome cabinet sign, resting on the roof of the plaza building and adorned with the Pets on Point logo and sharp red color. Also shown is a Pittsburgh Yellow pet grooming image on the window with the company’s marketing tagline, “A Space Designed with Pet Safety in Mind” and important information such as company website, phone number and store hours. Although Pets on Point is a new business with a new storefront, its owner, Katherine (Kat) Chancellor, is a seasoned groomer and lover of animals. Kat has a gentle touch and pays careful attention to her “client’s” emotional state. Moreover, her mantra of “A space designed with pet safety in mind” comes through clearly in the safe, clean and comfortable environment that she has created for the pets. To start, we worked closely with Kat to understand exactly what she needed and when. We were up against a specific deadline for her grand opening. She shared her logo files with us and our lead designer went to work on designing an eye-catching layout for the face of the cabinet sign. We used high quality vinyl placed on a 3’ x 8’ x 1/8” piece of acrylic. For the window graphics, we used Kat’s cool grooming graphic and enlarged it to cover a majority of the front store window. In addition, we included important store information such as web site, phone number and store hours. Kat Chancellor remarked, “Spark Signs said they could put the designs together and install the signs before my grand opening and they came through. I love the signs and they’ve sparked a lot of attention since they’ve been up, including several new clients.
