We recently finished a multi sign project for the Mike Kelly Automotive Group in Butler. The company is expanding its reach by opening a new building dedicated to pre-owned car sales.  The group needed a feature lighted sign to display on the building, as well as rehabilitation of a pylon sign next to the road near the front of the building.  Having worked with the automotive group in the past, Spark jumped at the opportunity to work with the well-respected brand once again. The Mike Kelly Automotive Group has been serving the Butler area for over 60 years.  With three dealerships representing brands like Cadillac, Chevrolet, Hyundai and Kia, the company offers a wide range of vehicle types.  The Pre-Owned Center will be an independent operation, so our job at Spark was to make the facility noticeable from the other Mike Kelly dealerships, the other competitor car dealerships on Route 8, and of course, to those driving by each day. As we developed design ideas in our studio, we knew the signs had to be big and bold to represent the Mike Kelly Automotive Group brand.  We focused on communicating the separate facility, but also the connection to the larger Mike Kelly network.  The brand recognition of the signs will help drive future sales and inquiries. From a sign to sign perspective, the unique shape of the clover leaf on the building sign makes it stand out from standard square signs.  Whether somebody is looking to purchase a car or not, the clover leaf on the building sign helps the Mike Kelly Automotive Group distinguish its brand from all other industries and businesses along Route 8. With that said, any business, whether situated as a stand-alone property or as part of a plaza of multiple companies, can benefit from a uniquely shaped sign.  Or in our case, a lighted pylon and illuminated channel letter sign to be exact.  These signs help companies stand out among multiple surrounding industries and businesses.   As shown by the Mike Kelly Automotive Group display, these signs help reflect the company’s personality, reinforce the brand name and draw people to the business. The lead project manager from the construction company was pleased with our collaboration on the project.
