Bin placement and centralized locations are important to a commercial recycling project’s success. Set up bins in areas where more waste tends to accumulate such as lunchrooms or meeting rooms. There can also be a small centralized area where employees are encouraged to take their recycling to sort themselves.
Choose Appropriate Recycling Bins
It might be wise and more efficient to have separate bins for all streams. For example, there can be one bin for trash that goes to the landfill and another one specifically for recycling. Be sure to have a clear way to identify between the two and choose sizes that will accommodate all waste.
