When you think of window film, you might think of something that's applied to the windows in order to block out or filter some of the sun. These types of films are great for maintaining 100% of the view, while eliminating unwanted UV rays, as well as solar energy that could overheat a room and make it uncomfortable, also causing an increase in cooling costs. But there are all kinds of films for different applications, and this one required a film that is a little more specialized.
In the images above and below, you can see the windows of the store where we applied window film. This room is a stock room in the back of the store. This is not the front of the store, but there is a walkway where people do walk by. So they didn't want people to be able to see into their back storage room, but they did still want natural light to pass through. The solution was Suntek's white matte window film.
This film does a great job for blocking out the view, but still allowing light to pass through. It comes in different colors and textures, and you can also purchase this film in a lighter or darker opacity, to control how much or how little you can see through the window.
If you're the owner of a department store or a retail business, you understand how important it is to protect all of your merchandise. With large windows like these, you can probably see how it would be easy for a thief to smash these windows and grab whatever they can inside. But that's what makes window film so great.
