In the image to the left, if you look far off and into the distance, you can see the Washington Monument, located in the heart of our nation's capital. This view is from a home where we recently installed window tinting for Jack and Gerri K. They have one of the best views in the area and they wanted to make sure that they were taking full advantage of it.
With a view like this, you can imagine that our clients wanted to let the light in and enjoy the view all day long. But the problem was that some of their decorations and furnishings inside of their home, which are an extremely eclectic and valuable collection, were being exposed to the sun's UV rays and could have potentially faded rapidly without proper protection. Window tinting films not only cut out excessive heat and unwanted glare, but they can also virtually eliminate ultraviolet rays.

We installed Suntek DRDS 25 Window Film, which is a traditional film that provides year round energy savings by reducing energy transfer from both sides of the glass. This film cuts out virtually all UV rays, while still allowing maximum visible light to pass through. Another feature of this film is that it blocks out the view from outside looking in, creating extra privacy. As you can see in the images below, a few of the neighbors have rooftop patios, so adding this film was a great way to create extra privacy too.
