VINYL GRAPHICS FOR GOVERNMENT, UTILITY AND BUSINESS VEHICLES
Just take a drive down any American street and you’ll see them. Plainly communicating who they are and what they do. Sometimes they just use simple lettering. That lettering could be plain black or any color in the rainbow. Other times they employ full color graphics. Often, they use both. It’s your local police cruiser, fire truck, school bus or maybe the area cable provider’s truck. In any event, they are vehicles that have had vinyl graphics installed.
Vinyl graphics are an incredibly cost-effective way of making the public aware of who you are. And nothing beats vinyl graphics for putting forth a professional image.
SO, WHAT EXACTLY ARE VINYL GRAPHICS AND HOW ARE THEY USED?
The term vinyl graphics can mean several things. The simplest of which would be the use of
contour-cut white or colored vinyl to decorate a vehicle. A good example would be cut letters that are applied to a van to communicate, for instance, the name and contact information of the organization. This is commonly referred to as “vehicle lettering”.

The next level up would be
full color printed vinyl that is either contour cut or left in sheet form. The sheet printed vinyl would be used to wrap a vehicle, either partially or fully. The contour cut vinyl would be used for partial decoration, perhaps a graphic or logo. A good example would be a company logo cut to shape and in full color.

In all cases, the vinyl comes with an adhesive backing that is engineered to be permanent, removable or anywhere in between. Vinyl graphics are incredibly durable. UV rays, scuffing, fading, heat and cold.
The removable vinyl types, which are the most common for vehicle applications, are just as they say they are. Removable. So much so that you can decorate your vehicle and see that decoration removed years later without a trace. Of course results vary based on how you use and store your vehicle.
WHAT ABOUT WINDOW GRAPHICS?
We see vehicles every day with graphics on their windows. Often, our first instinct is to worry about whether the driver can see out of the window. Is this safe? No worries. It's just an optical illusion. The driver can see just fine due to the fact that the vinyl material, called “Window Perf” allows for over 50% visibility.

Window graphics are a great way to utilize your vehicle’s best available billboard space. And you don’t have to sacrifice safety. So don’t watch your profits go by in your rear view mirror.
