Not only does she oversee the design of the collection of shoes and handbags every season, but she also designed and furnished the Boutique on Madison Avenue. The interiors have exceptional lighting and chic contemporary furniture.
Coming from Tuscany-Italy, she started designing her own shoes at the age of sixteen when her father invited her over to his own shoe factory. She hasn’t left the shoe design world since. It was there, she found her husband and business partner Roberto Angiolucci.
Together they have developed a brand born in Italy, but based and inspired by the American market. A name in shoes that today indicates the highest Italian quality, consistent fitting and surprising styling. This brand is unique, as the design of the shoes shows. It is a true case of fame built pair by pair by this dynamic duo.
In 2009, Claudia was voted best Italian Shoe Designer popular Choice Awards. Claudia’s shoes have appeared on the pages of Harper’s Bazaar, “O”, Elle, Vogue and many other mainstream fashion magazines. Her designs have been spotted on the series Ugly Betty and on “E! News”. The line has garnered its share of celebrity fans: Angelina Jolie, Debi Mazar, Vivica A. With her classic Italian appearance and accented voice, Claudia explains that her travel starts in Italy, but her inspiration comes from the global events in fashion and the incredible energy that thrives in New York City.
