Established in Europe in 1967, H & V Leathergoods has long time been recognized for their impeccable quality and design. Seasoned lines such as Due Fratelli, have earned them recognition amongst their peers (recipient of the European award for quality and design, Paris 1994 – 8th International).
Founder and patriarch Harry Keverian chose to move operations to Montreal in 1990, where he continues to call home and helms the company’s tradition of handcrafted luxury goods, all while remaining one of a very few Canadian specialty manufacturers.
Matriarch Arsho heads up the sales force, influences design and promotes the visibility of the various brands. With a kind heart and a finely tuned eye, Arsho has become one of the most respected women in the business.
Established in the fall of 2005, Miss MAK Designs has come to be known for their bold statement shoulder and arm wear creations. Easily recognized by their forward shapes, eclectic skin combinations and signature leopard lining, the Miss MAK Designs brand is now a staple in many on-trend and classically-forward wardrobes and boutiques across North America.
As an artist, it was always Mary-Ann Keverian’s (Creative Director of Miss MAK) destiny to create beautiful things and share them with the world.
A graduate of the world renowned Ars Sutoria (Handbag & Garment Pattern-Making Institute and Trend Bureau, Milan, Italy), Mary-Ann earned herself a diploma in Leather Goods Design and Pattern-making.
Now the constant globetrotter (and trend spotter), Mary-Ann’s designs are often inspired by international women she meets in her travels and their quest for individuality and practicality. She continues her own quest to create fashionably functional conversation pieces which are made to never go out of style, due to their unique craftsmanship and design.
In her free time, she can often be found painting or sketching portraits, sceneries or any form of art her imagination brings to life.
