Jessica Marie Rizzi burst onto the fashion scene in 2011. The 21 year old Paraguayan born, American designer premiered with a tote bag design. “I carry the kitchen sink with me, especially laptops, fashion magazines and economics and accounting books. I wanted to make a big bag. And one that looks classic but with a slightly different look”.
A protégé of the South American designer, Olinda Elizabeth Lopez de Galilea, Jessica has interned with the OLINDA designers. “Paraguay is my country of birth and I feel at home when I’m visiting and working there”.
Adopted at birth, Jessica grew up on Long Island, New York. “It’s just a 50 minute train ride to Manhattan’s Fashion District. You can find everything you need and all the craftsmen within a few blocks. I want all my bags to be American made.”
