Hi guys, I’m Brennan Unnerstall with Spectrum Cleaning and Restoration. We are out here in Naples, FL, working on a mold remediation today with my team. We were called about a week and a half ago for what the customer thought was a small water loss. And after we got out and used our equipment to find all the moisture, we realized that she had quite a bit more going on.
What we did find were multiple leaks throughout the property. On a typical project, the first thing that we come in and do is examine the entire situation. How we do this is we began looking around her home using our state-of-the-art thermal cameras capable of picking up anomalies in several areas, and we confirm that with our moisture meters that we have so that we can get an accurate read of the damage that exists for the claim and this gives us the information we need to know to get started.
We started the process of opening things up and looking around and we ended up identifying multiple leaks. So we use an online portal and every day, as we’re out, we’re taking notes, we’re taking readings, we’re taking photographs of what we’re doing. This way the client at anytime has access to our reports and findings.
We upload that all onto the web portal so that the customer has direct access to so they can follow along with the entire project and know what we’re doing and when. So we’ll go back through and replace all of the materials that were torn out and put the customer back into a like new or even better condition than before.
