Your logo should be a representation of your business. Logos are a visual element used to represent your company but is extends much further than that. Your logo creates an emotional association that a person makes with your business, product or services. This creates a sense of professionalism, quality, creativeness etc. It is the marquee of your business that you use for recognition, promotion and brand loyalty.
Recently we had Braulio General Contractors come to us to help build a logo that represents their business. Braulio worked with our design and branding experts to come up with a design that reflects their business, culture and friendly approach to home improvement. The process can be fairly straight forward if the client has a good grasp of how they want to portray their business and have done some homework in regards to color, shapes and styles that fit the image they are trying to achieve. Braulio came prepared and the process only took a few days for our team to develop a design that they were very excited about.
What better way to introduce the new logo but new graphics for their vehicles? Many times you will see a vehicle with cluttered or over crowded graphics because they want to get every little product or service on the vehicle. This can create a visual that is difficult to read causing the viewer to lose interest before the message is received. We worked with Braulio to come up with a layout that maximizes the space, presents their logo and services in a clean and clear format to give maximum visibility and interest.
We used multiple mediums to achieve the goal. In designing the graphics our design team consulted 3M and Avery plot vinyl options to ensure that the colors selected would be brought to life in a simple manner. In using two separate contour cut high performance 3M vinyl materials on the sides of the truck the install was done in layers. While this can create a slightly more labor-intensive install, the colors of cast plot material pops making the design worth the hassle! The back tailgate of the truck is made of diamond plate which is not ideal for vinyl, so we created a template and painted their logo on the back of the truck. They were ecstatic with the result.
