Chester County, PA – Information is the Key to Success in this “New Normal”

BY: Your Name, Your Business

As we move into new phases of restrictions, more and more businesses are opening and people are eagerly out and about! With restrictions constantly changing and varying based on county, as well as new information regularly becoming available, it is more important than ever to be flexible. With every restriction the government throws our way we have to adapt and come back stronger than ever.

As a business operating and working to succeed in this strange time it is essential for your business to:

  • Read the guidelines carefully. While the guidelines are constantly changing, those with power are working to make things as clear as possible.
  • Follow the news/statistics! Certain regions of the state are in opening back up sooner than others, make sure you know the pattern of cases in your area to ensure your business and community stays safe.
  • Make note of how these restrictions will alter “business as normal.” Are you offering safe distanced seating? Is curbside pickup your main business? Are masks going to be necessary?
  • Will you offer new products or services? Will you provide them in a safe and effective way that makes your customers comfortable enough to want those products and services?
  • Look at what those around you are doing. Learn from other local businesses that are also opening or that have been open and see what has been successful thus far.

There are a lot of elements and guidelines currently in place and we know while businesses are eager to open and start bringing in a consistent cash flow, there are still concerns as to how to abide by the restrictions while maximizing profits. The safety of your employees and customers are essential, and that’s where we can help!

Whether just opening, increasing or adapting services, or trying to find your footing – signage is a great place to start!

Social Distancing Signs:

If people are going to be within your space it’s always a good idea to remind them to maintain a safe distance from other individuals. This is especially true in bars, restaurants and retail spaces. When things seem normal individuals seem to disregard guidelines. Social distancing signs can be placed on sidewalks, indoor on floors, stand up sign placards on tables and as window graphics.

Health/ Safety Signs:

While maintaining hygienic practices is always important, now more than ever we have to ensure that individuals do their part to keep the spread low. Reminding those in your establishment to engage in hand washing, sanitizing, and proper hygiene helps to remind employees and customers that  you care about their safety while also helping keep your doors open!

Curbside Pickup Signs:

If your business is offering curbside pickup make sure it’s easy for your customers to know where to go and what to do. These signs offer easy branding potential and can be removed as capacities change. Yard signs, A-frame signs and post signs are a few popular varieties of curbside pickup signs!

Wayfinding Signs:

The best way to ensure social distancing is to make sure individuals flow organically through a space. While wayfinding signs are always important in a business, with COVID-19 they allow customers to adhere to the guidelines you set. From directing traffic to new parking spaces, maintaining social distance, directing foot traffic or keeping individuals separate – wayfinding signs keep people safe. From floor graphics for interior spaces, to temporary exterior signage, to more permanent structures – there are options for every space and budget!

Hours of Operation Signs/Services Signs:

If your business has made changes make sure you let your customers know! Information is key to maintaining a healthy relationship with the community. New hours of operation, new products and services can be presented using window graphics, banners and yard signs.

Sneeze Guards:

Any business that operates with a counter and cash register can benefit from a sneeze guard to protect employees as well as customers. Putting a physical barrier between people helps prevent the spread of disease by inhibiting the particles to reach your face. These can be adhered to the front of the table on standoffs, free standing on feet, sat on edge with hinges:  no matter your counter situation we have an option for you!

If done properly your customer should feel informed and comfortable using your services and products. With the constant changes we are faced with now is as good a time as any to take steps towards success! If you are planning on reopening and want help on how to present your opening to your customers, you are open but in need of signs or just lost on where to begin – give us a call for a free consultation.

We are here to help and your success is our success.

We believe that “Getting you noticed  (and keeping our community safe) is Paramount”
