Very often we have customers call us on a Tuesday or a Wednesday that have a tradeshow on Friday. They seem flabbergasted that we can’t design and create a pop up banner or even a booth by Friday!

The process to create a pop up banner should be simple….but is it? Loaded question! It can be, but many times it is not. Here are some simple steps to creating a trade show pop banner.

Step 1: Chose your pop up banner display unit. You may choose strictly on price or by how big you want your pop up banner to be. This process can take 10 minutes to 2 days, depending on how unique your requirements may be. Now we have to order your unit unless we stock it. This can take anywhere between 1 and 4 days.

Step 2: Create the artwork. Although many customers think they have the artwork ready it is in fact not print ready. We help create a mock up of your pop up banner and take print quality into consideration (if we blow up your design will it still be a quality image). Many times customer provided artwork looks great on a computer screen but looks pixilated when blown up to 6 feet tall. This process can take anywhere from 2 minutes (customer provides print ready artwork) to a week (we’ve had to redo some artwork and purchase high resolution artwork). We work with our customers to make sure they get the highest quality product.

Step 3: Print the pop up banner. Depending on how busy our printer is this may only take a few hours to a few days. In most cases we can get something printed in less than 24 hours.

Step 4: Assembly of the banner and the stand. This only takes less than one hour in most cases

Step 5: Delivery! Many customers overlook this. They forgot that they would have to go pick the unit up or have it shipped. Shipping overnight can blow the budget, so take this into consideration.
