SYNOPSIS: We love working with returning clients. A great example is Excalibur Fuels. This company buys branded gas stations and then asks our team to rebrand them.
We Offer Vinyl Graphics for Gas Stations
BY: Scott Hoffman, Superior Signs and Graphics
Examples include a service station rebranding for a Union 76 in Westminster, another rebranding in Anaheim, and a Shell station brand update in Riverside. Our latest project included a set of rebranding vinyl graphics in Santa Ana, CA. Our technicians used 3M cast vinyl for long-lasting performance. We use this material for the pump dispenser doors, the valances above the pumps, and the pump number signs. Another thing that sets this type of project apart is the strict timeline. The client could get in trouble for displaying the outdated branding after its expiration date. Our front office team makes sure that we schedule these appointments before this happens.
The finished product successfully rebrands the station with durable vinyl graphics that will look excellent for years to come.
Why Do You Use Cast Vinyl?
We use cast vinyl for gas station rebranding because the environment is unusually demanding and wearing on the material. Consider the combination of heat, UV rays, fuel vapors, other vehicle chemicals, consistent cleaning, and ongoing outdoor weathering.
Is Cast Vinyl Better for My Project?
Cast vinyl is slightly thinner and therefore more flexible than calendared vinyl. It is the better choice for wrapping materials with plenty of curves, contours, rivets, and other irregular surfaces (that you might find on gas pumps). Cast vinyl also offers superior long-term dimensional stability. This means that it is far less likely to shrink or experience lift around edges or seams.
How Does Cast Vinyl Change the Look of a Sign, Gas Pump, or Valance?
Cast vinyl has a high-quality finish that is ideal for displaying vibrant colors and detailed graphics. It mimics a painted finish, which is attractive and eye-catching. And when you invest in a major rebranding, it makes sense to choose the longest-lasting vinyl product on the market.
When Can I Use Calendared Vinyl?
We use calendared vinyl on flat surfaces like walls and panel signs. It is ideal for indoor applications and rougher surfaces.
How Do I Protect My Vinyl From Graffiti? We recommend using an anti-graffiti laminate that lets you wipe off offensive scribbles made with permanent marker or spray paint.
