The office team at Orange Lutheran High School called us. In the past, we did wall graphics, pole banners, and 3D wall lettering for the school’s campus. For this project, the client needed signs and graphics for offices in Orange County, CA, that would go into a new venue the school acquired. From there, it operates its human resources department, accounts payable, and other clerical functions.
Signage Package for a New Office Building Boosts Functionality of the Space for Workers
Currently, the client occupies one of the building’s sections that contains ten offices. The team wanted us to help make the space feel like a part of the school by adding a wall wrap. Since we have the specs on file from the other projects we did for the client, we were able to accommodate this request quickly.
Besides that, we added a dry-erase wall stripe that eliminates the need to buy additional boards for the meeting room. Other projects we took on include two etched vinyl stripes on the conference room glass for privacy and eight large acrylic panels displaying high-resolution photos. Our installers mounted them with brushed aluminum standoffs. These add to the space’s integration with the school’s brand and overall ambiance.
Using Signage Products to Create a Welcoming Office Environment for Employees and Visitors
Our clients routinely use signage as an effective way to enhance the overall atmosphere of a space and boost its functionality. What are some of the most popular options?
- Lobby sign. Place a prominent lobby sign at the entrance of an office to greet employees and visitors. This can be a simple and stylish sign with the company name or logo, creating a positive first impression.
- Directional signs. Use directional signs strategically throughout the office to guide people to different areas, such as meeting rooms, restrooms, the cafeteria, or other important locations. Clear and easily understandable wayfinding signage helps people navigate the space with confidence.
- Office information. Use wall-mounted composite panels with vinyl overlays to display important office information, such as office hours, emergency contact numbers, Wi-Fi access details, or company policies. It lets everyone access necessary information conveniently.
- Decorative wall graphics. Transform plain walls into visually appealing elements by incorporating wall graphics or entire wraps. These can include motivational quotes, company values, or images that reflect the company’s culture. Word walls add personality to the space and create a positive atmosphere.
- Department signage. Use signage to label each area if your office has multiple departments or teams. This makes it easier for visitors and employees to find the specific department they seek, fostering a sense of organization and efficiency.
