The Irvine Village Center was established in 2017 on Jeffrey Road, right across the street from Irvine Valley College. Monument and Wayfinding Signs before the Upgrade
Value Rock Realty co-manages the shopping center. We have done quite a bit of work for this client. Cases in point are anti-graffiti commercial “For Lease” signs in Orange County. They noticed that the wayfinding signs were out of sync with the tenant locations on the property. In some cases, the signs still featured tenants who had moved. Monument Sign Refurbishing and Wayfinding Sign Updates for Shopping Centers
The client determined that three signs needed to be updated. To make allowances for future changes, they wanted the updates to feature easily changeable tenant names that could be updated whenever a tenant comes in or moves. This approach is a budget-friendly means of keeping the wayfinding signs current and relevant for the customer.
Our technicians determined that refacing the existing signs would be an ideal approach because it makes good use of the existing structures, which saves the client money. We applied white pre-enameled aluminum panels over the old and faced PVC panels on each sign. They show new graphics and arrows that point in the correct direction.
We painted the structure and removed the big arrow from the post-mounted sign. Technicians then replaced it with an additional tenant panel that was needed due to the venue’s growth. The white enameled faces now allow us to easily peel off the tenant name of a business leaving the location. The panel with the arrow pointing toward its suite remains in place. When a different tenant takes over the suite, we can quickly and easily place the new name on the blank panel portion.
