Acrylic and Metal Combine for Building Lettering and a Logo
The team decided on three-dimensional letters without illumination when we discussed the building logo sign with the client. After preparing a draft using the specs that we had received, Vege Labs’ management team gave us the green light to proceed.
Our technicians began by flat-cutting the lettering and logo elements from one-inch-thick acrylic. We painted the letters black and overlaid them with brushed metallic facings. The black sides underscore the bright color of the fronts. Moreover, the black color creates an excellent contrast between the brushed metal and the red brick of the facade.
The logo is painted in the client’s custom teal color. We fabricated and painted all elements of the sign in-house, which guarantees that we had complete quality control at every stage of the project. Once the pieces were done, we installed them on the brick building’s facade with studs to ensure they stayed securely in place. The finished product is brand-centric, looks attractive, and perfectly matches the already-installed metallic plaques.
A Closer Look at Acrylic Building Lettering
Acrylic is a popular material selection for 3D building letters. It imitates the elegance of glass but has none of its brittleness.
