For this project, our technicians worked with black acrylic that we cut into three-dimensional letters and logo pieces. The advantage of the color is that the sides are also black, which allows the sign to differentiate from the backdrop. Moreover, it was also a good choice for another reason.
This client requested brushed metal laminates that we would place on top of the 3D letters. For starters, it gives the illusion that the pieces are made from metal through and through. Secondly, the metallic tone on top of the black acrylic looks fantastic.
The final step of the project was the installation. The focal wall has a dark gray tone, which is ideal for drawing attention to the matte, brushed metal.
