Do you remember the work we did for Unlimited Telecom? Back in October, we helped the business with a redesign of its corporate logo. The new one has a contemporary look and modern brand message that resonates with customers. We returned this month as the company rebrands and uses Superior Signs and Graphics to create new signs and wraps for its building, too.
Our graphic artist had already designed a vehicle wrap for the business’ NV2500 van. When you see the before and after picture, you will agree that the new product looks fantastic and makes the company’s message pop. Of course, with the changes that we made to Unlimited Telecom’s corporate persona, it was critical that we would adjust the existing signage.
- Building sign. Our technicians used half-inch-thick acrylic for the building sign that we custom-cut and painted in the firm’s custom PMS colors. To prepare the wall for the new product, our installers removed the old sign and patched and painted the substrate.
- Lobby signage. The lobby sign also consists of half-inch-thick acrylic. We painted the material black and added brushed metal faces.
It is interesting to note that the company is considering launching a second brand called Unlimited Properties. For this reason, they are holding on to the existing signs and asked us to add the new Telecom signs above. The next project we will take on consists of several wall wraps throughout the facility.
Rebranding Like an Expert
Unlimited Telecom planned their rebranding like a pro. The company started with vehicle wraps, which have the most significant impact on the largest number of would-be customers, and then turned toward the building signage. Also, keeping the old signs in place is an excellent idea. For this client, it is functional, since they will be launching a new brand shortly.
However, other companies sometimes decide to temporarily maintain old signs to give existing customers a chance to get used to the changes. If the changes you make are minor, it is not necessary. That said, if the changes are significant, it could be a good idea for a brief time.
Did You Know That Material Selection is Part of the Rebranding Process?
When your company rebrands and uses Superior Signs and Graphics to create new signs and wraps, our graphic artist can assist you with the selection of the material that best encapsulates your brand message. For some companies, this could mean a switch from sign foam to acrylic or metal. Others may decide to go from three-dimensional letters to a logo board instead. We can show you some sketches that give you a better idea of what that might look like.
For the business owner who already has all the details in place, we can work with your designer or advertising agency. We can fabricate the signs in our shop or take a receipt of completed products that we then bring to your location for a third-party installation.
