Earlier this week, we introduced a new project we worked on for the Athletics Program at Orange Lutheran High School. At that time, we presented the work we did in the weight room hallway. Here is part two of the project. We added more custom printed wall murals for schools and universities in Orange County, CA.
Another Set of Hallways is Beautified with Custom Graphics
This time, the project took us to the wall opposite the weight room wall. The client requested the display of a timeline with older photos on the left and the new ones on the right. The other wall is located in the Athletic Training hallway that opens up with the “L” shield logo.
The school gave us a wide variety of photos to choose from for the design of the products. Many came from yearbook photographers. Our graphic artist selected the most compelling shots. Next, our technicians clipped images from their backgrounds and integrated them into a new layout.
As you walk past these images, you notice the progression of time and the gradient color changes that allow for the seamless transitions of the images. It is a fantastic way of presenting the school’s pride and gives current students a chance to look back in time.
In fact, these school pride projects are so popular that Superior Signs and Graphics has done similar ones for CSUF, La Habra HS, Monrovia HS, Santa Ana HS, Segerstrom HS, Riverside City College, and Loyola Marymount.
Let Us Help You Express School Pride
You already know that wall graphics and wraps are ideal for generating school pride. The combination of colors and images is an excellent recipe for having students stop and envision their own photos on the walls. Similarly, it reinforces school pride in parents, who then communicate it to the kids.
That said, there are also other signage solutions for the school in need of a school pride infusion.
- Athletic banners. Choose championship banners, team banners, or general sports banners. They look great in a gym, a hallway, or on a field. Moreover, if you have dates on the banners, they can be retired for permanent displays in the cafeteria or elsewhere when a new season starts.
- Digital signage. LED readerboards are now familiar sights on school campuses. Many have them integrated into pylons or monument signs. Use the readerboard to connect with students and parents. That said, they are excellent for featuring congratulatory messages to sports champions, spelling bee winners, band members, and valedictorians.
- Decals. Large decals featuring the school’s mascot look great on walls, doors, windows, and desks. We adjust the type of vinyl we use for each installation space. For example, window graphics could be excellent when using perforated vinyl. By the way, we can also make floor graphics that are sure to stand out.
