The folks at TemperaturePro Birmingham were looking for a sign company to put a partial wrap and cut vinyl graphics on their new vehicle - a 2016 Ford Transit. They found the right partner in Kingfisher Signs & Graphics. The first thing our chief designer did was to select the correct Pro Vehicle Outlines template from our catalog of over 10,000 vehicle outlines - a 2016 Ford Transit 250, 130" wheelbase van, with medium roof. Armed with this accurate template and TemperaturePro's official Company graphics specs, he then set about about configuring the wrap for the van. The design included wrapping about two-thirds of the van, laminated perf. material on the rear door windows, and applying cut vinyl lettering to the cab doors.

Satisfied with the proof and the estimated price, TemperaturePro Birmingham brought the van round for installation.

To ensure a precise fit and finish, we used Avery Dennison 1105 EZ RS wrap vinyl with AD 1360 Z overlaminate for the wrap portion of the job, with the leading sheet on each side cut to shape. For the rear window perf, we used Solvex 50/50 overlaid with an optically clear laminate. Following final measurements to ensure accuracy, the job was printed and cut ready for application.

We gave all surfaces that were to receive printed vinyl a thorough cleaning and our installer began to work his magic. Running to a tight schedule, he worked late into the evening, taking the time to make sure the job was done correctly.

This protects the ink and prevents the holes in the perf from filling up with rain water and dirt. We also cut the perf back a little from the edge of the glass and apply 3M Edge Sealing Tape to keep the perf from peeling up at the edge of the glass.
