[caption id="attachment_2983" align="aligncenter" width="784"] The CauseMobile - ride for Papa-Cause® The Friend to Santa Clause[/caption] A few years ago, local Birmingham, Alabama artist John Solomon Sandridge created Papa-Cause® The Friend to Santa Claus, to promote joy and hope. As the Holidays approached this year, he decided it would be fun to create a CauseMobile for Papa-Cause® to ride in local Christmas parades. To this end, John contacted Kingfisher Signs & Graphics. He was able to provide some graphics for the project and had many ideas for how he wanted the CauseMobile to look, including an oval depicting Papa-Cause® side-by-side with Santa Clause, that would need to be applied to the car’s hood, doors and rear window. T-Shirt boy and Oliver the bear would be placed on one side of the rear of the car, while T-shirt girl and Olivia the bear would be placed on the other side. Our first job was to convert those images to vector for scaling up to the necessary size. Then we arranged them on our digital vehicle template, along with the necessary lettering and pictures of Papa-Cause® books. Working closely with John, the layout  was agreed and we set about transforming the car into the festive CauseMobile. The graphics certainly make the vehicle stand out. John reported that the car was a big hit in all the parades it attended, attracting a lot of attention from boys and girls along the routes.
