The main sign had to be formed letters and / or logo and could not be a rectangular banner-style sign, but there was also a limited budget. The store owners presented Kingfisher Signs & Graphics with their logo: [caption id="attachment_2970" align="alignleft" width="300"] Magic City Needlepoint Logo[/caption] The sign band of the store, as is typical, was much wider than it is tall, so the almost square logo was never going to fit. Plus the landlord was adamant he wouldn't accept a rectangular sign. So we took that vertically aligned graphic and transformed it into a form that fit the sign band of the store, while adding a creative flair to the design of the script lettering. The owners loved it, and so did their landlord. Once the design was finalized, Gemini Sign Craft were commissioned to put the design into a 3-dimensional form. Laser cut 1/2" acrylic, hand painted to match the original logo was the chosen route.
