We were recently approached by a local deer farmer.
He wanted to get a picture of his prize buck onto the rear window of his truck.
All he had was a low-resolution picture he’d taken with his phone.
The customer wanted a silhouette of the deer in white, alongside his contact information. We quickly realized a silhouette simply wouldn’t show the detail of this magnificent buck, which would have been a shame as he so clearly deserved to be depicted in all his many-pointed glory. So, we suggested a picture in grayscale instead.
Having received approval from the customer, our Chief Sign Maker, Matt, first created a clipping path around the deer’s image.
Next, he converted that image to vector artwork, then finally created a contour cut path around the deer artwork. With an overlaminate for protection, the printed image was now ready to cut and install.

With the customers contact information and the size of the deer’s antlers (400 inches at 3 years old) cut from unprinted, white vinyl, we installed the window graphics in two separate sections.

The customer could not have been more pleased – His pride and joy was now displayed for all the world to see; advertising the impressive capabilities of his deer farm. Plus, there was an added bonus, as the customer was sure his fellow deer farmers would be green with envy at his spectacular rolling billboard.
