Our blog this week is featuring an in-depth look at omnipresent marketing. This marketing strategy has one simple goal, to reach customers where they are, whenever they’re there. When applied correctly it has the potential to create more sales conversions than ever before.

Omnipresent marketing is an approach to reaching prospective customers in a way that views them holistically, communicating with them across channels in different ways depending on how they interact with each channel. This means combining social media channels, your website, and other means of marketing to be everywhere your customer could be.

At first glance, omnipresent marketing can seem overwhelming and exhausting. Keeping up with customers on a website, at your brick-and-mortar store, and on multiple social media and online platforms is a lot. There’s no denying that. So, why do omnipresent marketing?

There are numerous benefits to omnipresent marketing that are backed up by statistics. In the blog, we dig deep into them, but here we’ll give you a brief overview of them:

  1. Build Brand Awareness.
  2. Building Credibility.
  3. Increased Sales/Revenue.
  4. Happier (and more loyal) Customers

Marketers using three or more channels in any one campaign earned a 287% higher purchase rate than those using a single-channel campaign. The benefits are real and definitely worth the effort!

This week we took a brief break from Marketing Mix. So, we threw it back to a past episode that’s still speaking to people and helping build business owners today. It’s all about E-A-T.

No, not E-A-T like “eat your supper.” Instead, E-A-T stands for expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness. The concept comes from Google’s Search Quality Rater guidelines. E-A-T is one factor that Google uses to evaluate the overall quality of a web page. This in turn affects a website’s SEO rankings.

Needless to say, it’s a crucial factor any business owner needs to understand. Your SEO rankings can directly impact how and if potential customers can find you online. That in turn impacts your ability to make sales.

Google takes into account how well your website caters to its users. They want to present them with the best possible search results so they keep coming back and trusting their platform. This means that your website needs to be purposefully created to provide your customers with meaningful information.

E-A-T is an especially important concept for anything that impacts people’s lives or money. They call it “YMYL” for “your money, your life.” So, websites providing information on finances, medical advice, safety, and the news are expected to be providing accurate and quality information.

We won’t be going in-depth here into each of the 3 categories, but we’ll provide a brief description:

  1. Expertise- You need to be an expert in your field and know how to communicate your information in an engaging way.
  2. Authoritativeness- Not only do you need to be an expert, but you also need to be a reliable and consistent source of information. They want to see who has become the authority on a particular topic.
  3. Trustworthiness- More than anything, they want to make sure you’re accurate and reliable. Positive reviews go a long way in proving this.
