Living close to San Francisco, CA, it’s hard not to be a sports fan. You’ve got famous teams like the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49ers, the San Francisco Giants, and the San Jose Sharks. There are also six nearby universities that participate in NCAA Division I. With all these sporting events nearby, it’s no wonder you have an array of sports memorabilia cluttering your home. • Decide if you can part with any your sports memorabilia if you have an overflow of it.  If you want some extra cash, you can try selling it on Ebay. Otherwise, consider donating your sports memorabilia to a charity auction.
• Display your collection in one room. Choose a room like the game room or even a finished basement. Displaying the items together makes it look more cohesive. 
• Choose a neutral wall color that will compliment your displayed items. Use a variety of shelving, bookcases and lit-up shadow boxes to display your items.
• Sort the items by sport or theme, such as football or baseball. Further divide the items into piles by autographed baseballs, jerseys, and bobbleheads. 
• Determine if any items need special cases, such as baseball cubes or shadow boxes for displaying your jerseys.
• Use baseball cubes, shadow boxes, and attractive picture frames to protect player’s photos, jerseys, and autographed balls.
• Buy specialty boxes if you’re displaying other items like baseball bats or boxing gloves.
• Position your largest piece in the center of the wall, generally 5’ at the center. Position other frames or shadow boxes around it  accordingly.  You could even place a large flat screen TV in the center for game nights.
• Add bookcases around it strategically so you can display any items that don’t hang from a wall.
