Washington DC - Great American Franchise Expo - Dulles Expo Center October 5th & 6th Mike and Renee began their search for a business in early 2019 after discovering Mike would be laid off from his current position in July. Mike saw this as an opportunity to finally realize his long-standing dream of business ownership. As they began their search, they had a list of top priorities that were a must for this future business. First was to find something scalable, a business where Mike could use his management and team development skills and most importantly, they wanted the business to provide a positive impact and allow them to get heavily involved in their local community. Once Mike and Renee discovered Monster Tree, they quickly narrowed down their focus and got in deep to the discovery process.   After going through the economics and discussing the numbers with the current franchise owners in validation, Monster Tree began to check all the boxes for them. After coming to discovery day and meeting the team and seeing the support firsthand Mike and Renee were ready to move forward and become Monster Tree owners! Mike plans to run the business full time as an owner operator. As empty nesters, Mike plans to put time in to grow the business up front and the transition into becoming more Semi Absentee so he can enjoy more time with Renee.
