Her studio opened its doors on September 19th, with a record number of presale memberships, 252 to be exact. “I am so excited to bring Honor Yoga’s mission to Knightdale,” said Lee Ann. “As the trend of health and wellness continues to grow, more and more people are beginning to pick up the practice of yoga. I knew there was a need for a beginner-friendly studio, and I hope to provide a welcoming environment that offers yoga practices for every person.” Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Lee Ann worked in management for 20 years with an emphasis on business operations, quality management, process improvements, and administration. After Lee Ann and Jim were laid off within six months of each other, the thought of becoming independent business owners started to grow. Lee Ann found yoga as way to help rehabilitate her body from past surgeries and heal emotionally after mourning the loss of her late daughter in 2010. Watching her life change through yoga, Lee Ann and Jim became inspired to open their own studio to help others transform their lives as well.
