Washington DC - Great American Franchise Expo - Dulles Expo Center October 5th & 6th D1 is on a roll, having awarded 50+ territories in 2019 with more coming soon! Congratulations to our newest franchise partners, Father and Son combo Brett & Dylan plus their business partner, Scott. Brett had built and ran his own telecom company and exited after a 20+ year run and was well on his way to developing his own youth focused facility in the Jeffersonville, GA area. His son, Dylan, was a former collegiate athlete at UAB and grew up playing sports before joining the family business. His close friend, Scott, had built strong reputations in project management and operations over the past decade. The group had been working to bring a community-based facility to their community and wanted to leverage D1’s infrastructure to hit the ground running. Having all been involved in playing or coaching at some level, they immediately connected with D1’s core values and vision to empower youth and adult athletes through character development, fitness and sports.  Shortly after a few calls, the group decided to join us in Nashville for D1’s “Recruiting Day” to experience D1 firsthand. Beyond the meetings, Recruiting Day was a true D1 Experience; touring the unique center designed to emulate a college training facility, meeting the team and even participating in the Discovery Day workout… D1 style! Dylan, Brett and Steve returned home to the Atlanta area and immediately purchased two territories in the NE and East Atlanta area.
