Irvine, CA Success in the Sign Business - Signworld Martin and Mary Neil, the owners of Caliber Signs and Imaging located in Irvine, CA., recently completed a project for GAC, a major Chinese automobile manufacturer planning market entry to USA in 2021. This facility in Costa Mesa is their California base for vehicle design. This sign was custom designed. The design concept itself was provided by GAC. Caliberadded value by creating a functional sign from a 2D illustration into a 3D sign that looks very much like part of the building. The outcome was a sign that, in an architectural sense, looked like part of the building. Even the engineers at City Hall were very impressed by the uniqueness of the sign. The client was extremely particular about the three main features of the sign being exactly correct - the illuminated logo, the wedge style lettering, and the visibility of the lower pattern from inside the office area. The sign has become a feature in eastern Costa Mesa. Not only was our client ecstatic with satisfaction and relief, but they were also proud that their Chinese Board of Directors thought the sign represents them fantastically well for their first office in the USA.
