Home Maintenance Tips | Scubbing Bubbles Saves Paint

BY: ,

Most people have heard of the house hold cleaning product Scrubbing Bubbles.  If you haven’t heard of Scrubbing Bubbles its a cleaning product used in bathrooms, kitchens, tile surfaces, etc.  Their tag-line is “they scrub so you don’t have to.”  The product is a foam that you spray on and it eats away at mold and scum and easily washes away.

But there’s a great little secret that most people don’t know about with Scrubbing Bubbles.  It’s good for removing marks from paint.  That includes wall, doors, cabinets, and anything else inside your house that has been painted.

What happens is the Scrubbing Bubbles is kind of like a mild paint thinner.  When you spray it on a mark on a painted surface it slowly starts to eat at the paint underneath the mark that is on the wall.  The longer you let it sit the more paint it will take away.  Even after a few minutes it will just barely take off a micro-thin layer of paint, revealing the fresh paint underneath with no more mark.

Instead of repainting that wall or cabinet or whatever it is that needs attention, try a little Scrubbing Bubbles, it saves paint and money.
