Time was - a banner was a cheap way to get a sign when you couldn't afford anything else.  All that was available were cut vinyl letters that had simple slogans like "Opening Soon" or "On Sale".  While these type of banners still exist, the advent of wide format digital printing has given banners a whole new lease of life. Anyone visiting Vancouver during the recent Olympics couldn't miss the spectacular banners hung from the city's skyscrapers.  The most prominent of which was probably the vibrant 30 story banner hanging from the RBC tower. While you might not need or be able to afford a 30 story digital print, there are many opportunities where a wide format banner might serve your business well.  I've seen wide format banners everywhere from high end salons to golf tournaments.
