This is Mario Altiery with Upside Group Franchise Consulting out of Scottsdale, Arizona. We’re a full-service franchise consulting firm for all your franchising needs. Whether you’re an emerging brand or an established brand that needs some revamping, we do all types of consulting work.
Today, I want to tell you about a client that’s having some good success. This is Marbles Brain & Body Fitness. It’s a really cool, unique business. As you can see on the screen here, it’s basically a gamification system. It’s a way to play different brain-stimulating exercises that connect the brain and body together. What that does is stimulate the brain and allows you to basically keep your marbles—keep your wits about you—at a much older age. It sharpens you, keeps you on top of your game, and keeps you on your toes.
It’s a really, really cool business run by some sharp, sharp folks. They officially got going with us around the summertime last year, and they’ve already had three franchise sales. I believe those folks are looking to open more as well, so it’s growing really fast. They have another set of three franchises that are right at the final stages, so they’re already experiencing fast growth.
There are some other things happening that I can’t tell you about yet, but there are some really big things on the horizon for them. They are very capable, and if things continue at this pace, I wouldn’t be surprised if they have hundreds of units in just a couple of years based on what’s going on. That might not be right for everybody, but at Upside Group, we pride ourselves on getting our clients off the ground quickly using our streamlined processes so that cash flow is not an issue. Our clients can manage growth effectively—if they grow fast. We do want to build a strong foundation, which is exactly what we’ve done here.
