The leading luxury eco-friendly resort operator, Soneva has announced the launch of the very first over water villa at their flagship private island resort at Soneva Fushi.
Carefully designed to give their guests the utmost privacy, the new one- and two-bedroom Water Retreats make the most of the picturesque ocean vistas. The one bedroom 6,300 square foot and the two-bedroom 9,200 square foot both have their own private pool, as well as a wraparound slide that leads into the ocean. The villas also come equipped with an outdoor deck to enjoy the sunrise and in the evening the sunsets. Lower to the water the deck has catamaran newts over the ocean to allow you to lounge near the water and stay cool. Perhaps the most exciting feature of these villas is the retractable roof in the master bedroom that allows its guest to stargaze from the comfort of their bed.
Much though when into the design of this hotel and the villas have been created with sustainable sourced materials such as reclaimed driftwood, and floor to ceiling windows. The design and location were decided after a comprehensive assessment with the marine ecosystem to assure it would remain unharmed.
