In Pleasanton, CA there is an off-track betting facility at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Their off-track betting facility has been at their current location for quite a long time, and draws a good amount of people every week, of every year. To their regulars, it’s a hang out, and somewhat of a hidden gem. But while it’s good to be a ‘hidden gem,’ sometimes, it’s also good to be a gem that everyone knows about. This is why we were contacted but the manager of the off-track betting facility. They wanted to get the word out.
Located at the Alameda County Fairgrounds, there’s a HUGE opportunity to take advantage of the advertising potential right in their backyard. 1000s of people attend various events at the fairgrounds all year, and they all pass right by the betting facility. With so many people passing by their building, they knew they just needed some exterior signs to draw people in the building.
In the image above, you can see a few of the large format digitally printed signs we made and installed on their building. In total, there are 5 signs that surround the building from all angles, drawing traffic not only from on the fairgrounds, but also by cars passing by. The signs are large enough to be seen from the streets, helping to endure that 1000s of people will see their signs each month.
When we met with our client, the goals were simple: create signage that would let people know where they are, what their hours of operation are, and also get people excited to visit. They wanted signs that would be seen by as many people as possible, as well as durable (these types of signs are not only affordable, but will last for at least 5 or more years).
