Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming a new establishment to Walnut Creek and count them among our customers too. Manakish is a new restaurant in Walnut Creek that focuses on serving delectable and exotic Middle Eastern cuisine. It will be opening its doors soon and serving various starters, entrees, desserts, and more to their customers. We’re honored to learn that as soon as they were ready at the new location, they contacted us to get some custom signage made for their restaurant. With a menu this exotic, we knew that we had to create something that was unique, eye-catching, and embodied the Middle-Eastern aura of their establishment. Our Material of Choice – Push Through Acrylic Signs We chose to opt for push-through acrylic signs for the signage for a number of different reasons. Push through acrylic signs are unique because they’re made by pushing thick acrylic through a solid surface area. The elevated acrylic area can then be illuminated from behind or left as is to create a pleasing, visual aesthetic. Push through acrylic signs are also loved because they give you the flexibility of illuminating the signs from the back. In a way, they are similar to illuminated signs but there is a refinement and finish to these that you can’t replicate. The Perfect Push through Acrylic Signs! The best part is that the push-through acrylic turned out to be the perfect choice for Manakish’s signage. As previously stated, this type of material is extremely flexible for use with text-based signs or for use with logos. In fact, the Manakish logo of a blue olive is highlighted prominently and is definitely going to be hard to miss. We focused on creating three custom pieces that embodied everything that they were looking for. With a vibrant blue and yellow color, the restaurant is sure to attract the notice of everyone nearby. The yellow and blue color scheme is also carried in all the signage. Prominent colors are easily carried through in the acrylic material. Even with the text-based signs, the push-through acrylic creates a pleasing effect. Both signs feature an exotic motif as well as a stylized font. Placed squarely on the entrance and the side of the restaurant, the signs are going to be prominent and hard to miss. With the promise of exotic cuisine, amazing ambiance and our eye-catching signs, you’re definitely going to enjoy dropping by this wonderful establishment.
