It is best that an electrical junction is located either behind the wall or directly above the sign in the ceiling, in order to power the lights. Materials & Colors The most common interior halo lit signs are made of acrylic, aluminum, or stainless steel. Every letter and sign element are manufactured individually and lit with low-voltage LED lights. The LED lights are usually white but you have the option to select from a rage of colors that best complement your brand. Design In order for the desired 3-D halo effect, halo lit signs are illuminated around the edges of the letters and will have the most dramatic effect when there is heavy contrast against the back surface. If a logo has many small details or multi-colors, it may not have enough contrast with the lights to create this 3-D effect.
